All have served the club in three important roles.
Mick Ryan is the only person in the club’s history to coach the Kyabram senior, reserves and thirds teams.
Greg Dow is the only person to have held all three key administrative roles with the club — president, secretary and treasurer.
And David Collins is also the proud owner of a unique club hat-trick.
He has played in senior, reserves and thirds premiership sides with the Bombers — the only player to do so.
Milestones for cricketers
Two Kyabram Cricket Club players achieved personal milestones in their careers in the recent last home-and-away in Cricket Shepparton’s Haisman Shield competition.
Current coach Jackson McLay claimed his 250th wicket at A-grade level in the clash against top side Central Park St Brendan’s.
Paul Parsons edged past the 5000 runs milestone, also at A-grade level, for the club.
Salary cap breach
Murray Football League club Rumbalara has been hit for salary cap breaches from last season.
Goulburn Murray Player Payment Disciplinary Committee last week fined Rumbalara $27,000 for exceeding the cap. Some $13,500 of the fine has been suspended for three years.
Rumba has also been hit for $3000 for failing to submit CCSP documentation by the required deadline and $2400 for failing to lodge individual player declaration and 24 non-declared player statements.
Top sportstars
St Kilda draftee James Barrat has been crowned the Echuca-Moama Junior Sportstar of the Year for 2024.
Barrat was picked up at number 32 in the national AFL draft last year by the Saints after a stellar season with the Bendigo Pioneers.
His father is Kyabram raised Peter Barrat, a brother of Kyabram’s Ray Barrat, a former Kyabram player.
James’ home football club is Leitchville-Gunbower.
The Echuca-Moama Senior Sportstar of the Year was clay target shooter Kiara Dean.
Hot run
Kyabram concession reinsman George Chamarous is on a hot run at the moment.
He won on the Corey Bell-trained Major Bert at the Bendigo meeting on the Wednesday night and trotter Baarlinee at Ballarat the following night.
Baarlinee scored a runaway win in his first drive on the eight-year-old mare.
