Foord’s win at the Harrow Pony Express came in the Senior Clubman Ironman event.
It was his first career win.
Foord has been an avid rider for eight years.
Now 28, Foord said he started riding competitively less than 12 months ago.
“I’ve been riding since I was about 20 years old, just socially and for fun, but this this is the first year I have taken it seriously.”
The race at Harrow saw riders complete circuits of a 12km track non-stop for three hours.
Foord said it was littered with difficult areas and obstacles to manoeuvre.
For his efforts in the Senior Club Ironman event at Harrow, Riley has also been placed 19th for points on the Vic Hard Enduro leaderboard.
“It was awesome; it was the first time I had won.
“I had to keep checking the results to make sure I had actually won”.
Next up for Foord is the Dedarang Deadzone on October 15, which is round five of the Vic Hard Enduro Championships.
