KDTA grand final action | Kyvalley Red triumphs in the senior decider

Red clinched the premiership with a 9-74 to 1-31 blitz.

John Forde won both his singles games 6-4, 6-2 and teamed up with Paul Mennen in the doubles, winning convincingly, 8-0 and 8-2.

Melissa Williams won both her doubles games, winning 8-0 with Fiona Owen and 8-1 with Laura Forde.

Kyvalley Black put up a fight with Sue Carroll and Rebecca Gell winning 8-6 in the doubles.

Awards were also announced on the day. Most consistent men’s and women’s players were won by Paul Mennen and Laura Forde.

The best-and-fairest award also went to Paul Mennen as part of a clean sweep by Kyvalley Red, who has been the dominant team all season.
