You could feel the tension and excitement building the minute you walked through the door of the magnificent Shepparton Croquet Club.

This was a special event — the Goulburn Valley Croquet Association Champion of Champions.
The club champions, from all clubs were represented. From Deniliquin in the north to Euroa in the south, Numurkah in the east and Kyabram in the west and all clubs in between.
The scores for the two days were a true indication of the skills and tenacity of all members.
Winners were as follows:
Division one: John Young (Mooroopna), runner-up Andy Davis (Deniliquin)
