The fourths are the last Deniliquin Rams football team standing in the Murray Football Netball League finals.
Cobram won a close game last time they met and Rams will be looking to change that result this time around.
“We have seen great improvement in all the players this season,” said Rams fourths assistant coach Tony Marshall.
“Last Saturday was a great example. We beat Mulwala in the final, who defeated us by more than 50 points the last time we met in the regular season.
“The group have belief they can match it with the best.
“They also have belief in their fitness, knowing they can run over top of sides in the final quarters.
“The players have a wonderful trust in each other and are playing well together as a team.”
Both Cobram and the Rams have a strong midfield line up and it will be a great battle to watch.
The Rams backline has been solid and repelled so many forward attacks last week and will look to do the same this week.
With conditions expected to be a bit slippery again early, it will be a tight contest again fighting for the ground ball gets.
Marshall said training this week has been about “honing skills and working on a few finishing touches with our game plan”.
“Last night we had a casserole night at the club, which was a great way to finish the week off, and now we look towards Saturday.
“Whatever the result may be we are so proud of our group and how far they have come.”
It will be a full day of cheering for supporters as there are also five netball teams vying for a spot in the grand final.
