Kyabram’s batters have some work to do after Karramomus posted a healthy 213 on the first day of their two-day Cricket Shepparton Haisman Shield clash on Saturday.

Without bowling spearhead Jackson McLay, the Kyabram bowlers struggled to dismiss the home side batters with Jayden Dhosi making 62 and Nathan Jones (54) proving stumbling blocks for the Kyabram attack led by Charlie McLay.
McLay’s 20 overs produced four wickets at a cost of 50 runs.
The only other multiple wicket-taker for Kyabram was Jack Donnell with 3-33 off seven overs.
Kyabram will be without frontline batter Cade Mueller for this Saturday’s run chase.
· Kyabrams’ B-grade side has a massive run chase on its hands this Saturday after Karramomus posted a daunting 7-320 off its 80 overs in the game at Kyabram Recreation Reserve.
Kyabram used eight bowlers in the visitors’ run fest, which was led by its skipper Chris Couch who blasted an unbeaten 150 with 21 fours off 176 deliveries.
Tom Holman with 2-80 off 21 overs and Paul Wickham with 2-47 off 14 overs were Kyabram’s only multiple wicket-takers.
· A dashing century by opener Marc Coates led a successful run chase by Kyabram against Euroa in their D-grade clash.
Coates and Andrew Porch piled on 187 in a dominant opening stand which enabled Kyabram to cover Euroa’s competitive score of 7-212 in 21.5 overs.
Coates blasted eight sixes and nine fours and faced 54 deliveries, while Porch was also aggressive with eight fours and three sixes in his innings of 65 retired off 49 balls.
Kyabram bowlers Anthony Evans, Liam McInnes and Flynn Burrows all took two wickets in Euroa’s innings.
