Benalla’s Harry Morrison continued his eye-catching start to season 2022, playing a crucial role on the wing in Hawthorn’s 12-point Easter Monday win over Geelong at the MCG.

Renowned as one of the biggest occasions on the AFL calendar, the 23-year old rose to the occasion, collecting a season-high 21 disposals.
Constantly providing an option for his team on the outside of the contest, Morrison’s willingness to work hard both ways was a highlight of his game, as he formed part of an exciting band of young Hawks that took it right up to the seasoned Cats.

Shepparton Swans product Jarman Impey was also impressive in the Hawthorn victory, picking up 20 disposals across half back.
Taking the game on at every opportunity, Impey was at his damaging best, using the ball at an incredibly efficient 85 per cent, while setting up a lot of the Hawks’ attacking forays from the defensive end.

Matching up against Tigers star Tom Lynch, the 22-year-old kept the spearhead relatively quiet throughout the match, getting the better of the match-up despite coughing up two goals.
Just 29 games into his AFL career, Butts has already established himself as the leader of Adelaide’s defence, and showed his worth at full back with some crucial spoils and telling intercept marks.
Down the other end of the Adelaide Oval, Swans product Josh Rachele once again proved to be the match-winner for the Crows, slotting two crucial final-quarter goals to see his side to victory.
Fresh off claiming the rising star nomination with an eye-catching performance against Essendon in round four, Rachele struggled to get going in the first three quarters, with the Richmond defence closely checking the young star.
But when the game was on the line, the five-gamer rose to the occasion, getting loose inside 50 on two occasions, before nailing the shots at goal to increase his tally to 12 for the season.
Shepparton’s Will Brodie continued the golden start to his career as a Docker, producing another dominant performance in Fremantle’s 48-point win over Essendon.
Stepping up for injured skipper Nat Fyfe in the Dockers’ midfield, Brodie was once again a bull around stoppages, picking up 26 disposals (which included 11 contested).
Using the ball at a highly efficient 88 per cent, he also showcased an ability to hurt the Bombers on the spread in what was a well-rounded performance.
Seymour’s David Mundy continues to prove age is just a number, collecting 20 disposals in a vintage performance by the 36-year-old midfielder.
Often utilised as the Dockers’ main distributor, Mundy used the ball at a clinical 75 per cent, with his ability to pinpoint targets inside forward 50 particularly impressive.
Kyabram’s Nick Holman was gallant for the Suns in their 26-point loss to St Kilda on Saturday afternoon.
Playing across half forward, Holman was lively, picking up 16 disposals, laying six tackles and kicking a goal.
