On Saturday, he and Jackson Mclay combined for a match-winning 10th wicket partnership after the Redbacks found themselves at 9-84 after just 30 overs.

In form: Sam McAllister bowled without luck against Echuca on Saturday, the accuracy of the Cooma fast bowler rewarded with three maiden overs as he finished with figures of 0-38 from nine overs. He also contributed 15 (from 36 deliveries) from the tail end in the run chase, Cooma finishing 53 runs short of Echuca’s 8-196 total.
