Greater Shepparton City Council’s Road Resurfacing Program for 2024-2025 began in January and is expected to be completed by April.
Key Shepparton streets scheduled for resurfacing include the busy Balaclava Rd shopping strip, residential Erskine St and school-adjacent Bourchier St.
Works are planned from 7am to 7pm, with flexibility for weather and traffic management.
Efforts will be made to minimise peak-hour disruptions where possible.
During this period, streets may experience partial closures.
Residents and businesses can rest assured that access to their properties will remain available, although some delays may occur.
Resurfacing near schools is timed between 9.30am and 2.30pm to ensure minimal impact on school drop-offs and pick-ups.
Council emphasises the importance of safety and compliance, encouraging residents, visitors and motorists to adhere to all road work signage and obey worker directions.
