Doors open at 5.30pm in the Deniliquin RSL Club’s Dunlop Room (upstairs), with curtain opening at 6pm.
This is the first time since 2018 St Michael’s has had the opportunity to offer a whole school production.
The Journey Home tells the story of four students who fall through a mysterious portal in the playground sandpit and journey around the world before returning home to Deni.
Based on Alison Lester’s beloved 1989 children’s book with the same title, the production is a celebration of the many different cultures that students attending the school come from.
Each class will perform a dance number, and there is a main speaking cast which features 16 students from Years 5 and 6.
The community is welcome to watch the students bring this tale of adventure, intrigue and the importance of home to life.
Entry is by gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to the St Vincent De Paul Society.
