Jack Sinclair’s goalkicking exploits from the midfield were enough to secure him the 2022 Merrigum Football Netball Club senior best and fairest award last week.

He won the award in 2019 and this year finished fourth in the Kyabram district league’s McNamara Medal count.
Sinclair polled 169 votes to win by 28 from another midfielder, with votes cast on three cards from six votes down to one.
The other Martin in the team, Ryan, finished third, on 111 votes.
Daniel Beattie won the reserves best and fairest ahead of Damon Zampaglione.
In the netball grades Breanna Baker was a 12 vote winner of the A-grade award, while Allana Adams was a runaway winner in B-grade and veteran Blynda Tranter won by a vote in the C-grade count.
