Still a lot of rain about, but we hope temperatures are on the rise a little. It’s good to have cards and bowls indoors.

Bowls winners on September 16 were Betty Britton, Muriel Trotter, Val Edwards and Maurene Pearce. Bowls on September 20 were won by Dorothy James, Sparks McMeekin and Don Drayton.
Card winners on September 19 were Jean McGrath and Don Drayton, while on September 21 Cheryl Trevaskis and Ian Stone were winners. Get well wishes to any members in hospital or housebound, hope you favourite team had a win for you in the footy finals.
Tongala Senior Citizens
Quite a few of us enjoyed our trip to Rich River, it was a lovely two-course meal, and of course we played the pokies, some of us even won, not a lot but our money back with a bit of interest. We do have another bus trip on October 31, and it is to Tocumwal. If you would like to go, phone Lois on 0433 818 594.
