Funds raised from badge sales was a whopping $13,149.
Thank you to the members and volunteers who manned our badge sale stalls.
Also, we wish to acknowledge the assistance of the Kyabram businesses that willing allowed sales trays to be placed on their shop counters, thank you all.
It would be remiss if we did not mention the assistance in fundraising by the Kyabram Football Netball Club, Parklands Golf Club, Rotary and Lions.
Anzac Day saw a great turnout from the public who witnessed Frank Lloyd, a life-time member of the RSL and our only remaining World War II veteran take the salute from marchers.
This year the marchers were led by James Studd (Korean veteran) and Graeme James (life members of the RSL and Vietnam veteran).
What a fly past, not two, not four, but eight planes. Thank you Pete George and the Echuca Fling Club. Anzac Day could not be held without the input of many volunteers from all walks of life here in Kyabram; schools, Dillmac, service groups, community groups, Ian and Rob Troy our flag bearers and Rick Graves at the flag pole.
Special thanks to David Blake our MC and the Kyabram Club. The Kyabram Club is a great supporter of the clubs that assist and support the RSL in our endeavours.
Thank you one and all.
— Robert (Bob) Stone, secretary/treasurer, Kyabram RSL
