However, she never expected the name of her home town, to become her surname.
On Saturday, December 7 in front of more than 150 guests, she married Ben Seymour with the beautiful backdrop of the Trawool Estate.
Not only is it ironic she would fall in love with Mr Seymour, his surname might be what sparked the relationship.
Hannah was travelling through London when she logged into the dating app, Hinge.
“I saw the name Ben Seymour,” she said.
“I was scrolling through and it caught my attention. I thought it was funny.
“Most people don’t put their surname on there. He didn’t even know his surname was visible.”
After connecting through the app, the future husband and wife went on a date.
“I then told all the girls from school about it,” Hannah said.
“They thought I was joking.”
One date would lead to two, then three, and they grew closer.
This was back during COVID-19 lockdowns, and the couple, both Australian (Ben coming from Sydney) were unable to head home.
“I was over there for about five years,” Hannah said.
“I met Ben after about a year.”
The couple would get the opportunity to do some touring around Europe before heading back to Australia.
Which is when it became time to plan a wedding.
“The wedding was magical,” Hannah said.
“Everything was perfect. It was a lot of fun and did not stop. It was full of surprises.”
On top of now being Mrs Seymour, Hannah had the privilege of being married in a venue where she saw lots of weddings in the past.
“I worked at Trawool Estate when I was younger,” she said.
“I’d worked behind the bar at many weddings.
“I never thought I’d be getting married there.
“And it looks amazing, there’s been a big refurb since I worked at Trawool. It’s incredible what they’ve done.”
The couple put together a mock Seymour Telegraph to celebrate the day, which guests kept as a souvenir.
“Apart from that, the big highlight for guests was the firework display, which was wonderful,” Hannah said.
Hannah and Ben had a chance to visit Seymour’s Carols in the Park before heading home to Sydney.
They haven’t had much of a chance for a honeymoon just yet, but are planning a trip to Bali for Hannah’s sister's 10-year wedding vows renewal.
“And we might try to get back to London next year,” she said.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Seymour, from everyone at the Telegraph.
