What brings you to Cobram?
Shannon: “We live in Berrigan, and we just had a baby, so we thought we’d get out of the house, walk around, look at the shops, get something to eat, and get some sun.”
How has your day gone?
Shannon: “It was nice. We had a good sleep last night, so we had a good day.”
Lawrence Solo
What brings you to Cobram?
Lawrence: “I work at JBS.
“Australia’s a peaceful country. I enjoy everything here.”
Ollie Sandover and Will Lincoln
What brings you to Cobram?
Ollie: “I’ve come to see Will and his family, just by myself, for the school holiday break.”
Will: “I was bored at home, so I thought it’d be better to get out, see things.”
Joe Dines
What brings you to Cobram?
Joe Dines: “Just to do a little bit of shopping and to sit down here in the sun. I live in a unit on my own now... So I just like to sit here and watch the passing crowd. It’s a good place, Cobram. A good town.”
Oscar and Alix Bayton
What brings you to Cobram?
Alix: “We’ve been on a family trip this week. We’ve actually been up to Katoomba and the Blue Mountains to ride the zigzag railway with our family. As we thought we should take some time and see the countryside. We travelled down, stopped at Parkes and Bathurst, and then we decided we’d come and stay in Cobram because we’d never been here before.
“We’re staying at the RACV Club, which is lovely, and we’ve had a hit of tennis, and been in the pool, and now we’ve come to walk the Main St and see what it’s all about.”
