Fathers come in all shapes and sizes and Kyabram is no exception - our Kyabram Free Press salute to dads for the Sunday, September 4 celebration presents a wide range of personalities.

Kyabram senior football coach Paul Newman and Stanhope under age coach Dean Wileman represent our sporty dads, while Adam Gordon is our dad on the land and Alistair Wall our finance father.
Rob Dingey is a father of five who has a rather interesting hobby, while Darren Viney is a firefighter volunteer and president of Merrigum’s school council.
Finally, Daniel Mackrell represents our councillor dad as he and his four sons will celebrate another Father’s Day this weekend.
Dean and Paul will have football commitments this weekend, while the approaching summer has Darren busy on two fronts — professionally — and helping to manage the 19-strong school population of Merrigum
Adam’s two sons, Tyler and Thomas, the latter who has just started at St Augustine’s College, are preparing for a harvest of canola later this year
While daughter Emily hasn’t yet shown an interest in the land, both boys can be expected to take on roles at the Undera property.
Rob operates Rob’s Model Paddle Steamers from a small shed alongside his family home on Finlay Rd, Tongala.
His models range from 90cm to two metres long, and while there is plenty of looking from his five children, including a set of twins, there is not much touching.
Alistair celebrated the first birthday of his daughter Chelsea last weekend, but on Sunday it will be his turn to be the centre of attention.
