Nominations for the Greater Shepparton Women’s Charter Award will close on Friday, March 29 at 5pm.
The award celebrates local women whose stories, contributions and actions have inspired and encouraged others to reach their goals through embracing diversity and making a difference.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali encouraged residents to nominate deserving women before nominations closed.
“You still have time to nominate your family members, colleagues and friends for the award, and there is no limit to the number of nominations you can make,” he said.
“Let’s come together to recognise and applaud the inspiring women among us.”
Jamie Lea was the 2023 Women’s Award recipient and was chosen due to her outstanding commitment to the community.
The Greater Shepparton Women’s Charter advisory committee is a group of passionate women committed to the advancement and recognition of local people.
The 2024 Women’s Award will be presented as part of the Greater Shepparton Volunteer Recognition Awards Ceremony on May 20.
