Tongala Primary School held its annual Parents and Friends Mother’s Day Stall last Friday with gifts available for students to purchase.

Gifts ranged from $1 up to $7, and the day was also an opportunity for mothers, grandmothers and family to join their child in their classroom for the morning.
Melissa Pearce said it was a great day for the school community to come together and celebrate significant female role models in the student’s lives.
“Parents and friends set up our Mother’s Day stall and kids can bring along money to spend on a gift to bring home to mum on Mother’s Day,” Ms Pearce said.
There was also a netball clinic running, with students rotating playing five-minute games as some of the parents were watching the action.
