The Lions Club of Seymour is again selling Christmas cakes, with proceeds of the cakes helping fund community projects.
There are two cakes available for sale — the larger 1.5kg cake costs $19 and the 1kg cake is $15.
Christmas puddings will also be available for $15.
Small, individually packaged slices of fruitcake are available for $2.
Seymour Lions member and Christmas cake co-ordinator Susan Hill said the individual slices were great for buying for parents or older family members, especially those in care, to be enjoyed throughout the year.
The Lions will have a stall set up to purchase cakes on Station St, Seymour on Thursday and Saturday mornings between 9am and noon until Christmas.
The cakes will also be available at Avenel Twilight Market this Saturday, December 10 and Carols by Candlelight at St Mary’s on Sunday, December 11.
Cakes will also be available for purchase at Goulburn Murray Credit Union Seymour, Commonwealth Bank Seymour, Seymour Passenger Service, The Brewers Table Seymour, Seymour Health, Hello World Seymour, Avenel Meats, Rebecca Baker Pharmacy Nagambie and Bendigo Community Bank Yea.
