He will become only the sixth Kyabram player to have played 200 or more senior games with the club.
Only Tony McDonell who holds the record with 333 games, Chris Atkins, Jason Morgan, Bob Vick and Herb Prior have played 200 or more senior games with the club.
A product of Kyabram junior ranks and the Murray Bushrangers and a three times Kyabram senior premiership player, Ogden and the Bombers have hit form in recent games and are on track to make a serious assault on this year’s flag.
‘‘We’ll get a better idea of how we are travelling this week against Echuca so I’m forward to that,’’ Ogden said this week.
Ogden returned to Kyabram this season after four frustrating COVID-interrupted seasons with the Pascoe Vale Football Club in the Essendon and District Football League where he won that club’s best and fairest award in 2021.
Ogden said he was keen to return to country football after COVID and with the incentive of reaching the 200 games milestone and history with the club Kyabram was natural choice.
The hard running onballer came through the Kyabram junior ranks and Murray Bushrangers and was a prominent member of three Kyabram teams in the golden era from 2013 through to 2019.
He played in flag-winning teams with the Bombers in 2013, 2016 and 2017 where he displayed his trademark courage, work ethic and skills.
