Moira Shire Council is calling for community input into a survey before it closes on Sunday, December 15.
Each idea will be reviewed by the recently appointed community panel before being considered by the panel of council administrators.
Together with the community, Moira Shire Council is developing ‘MoiraVision2045’, a long-term plan to guide the next 20 years.
Chair administrator Graeme Emonson said the vision would inform council’s decisions relating to key services, programs and infrastructure to meet the needs of the growing shire community.
“We want to know what matters most to the community, what makes Moira Shire special and how we can work together to create an even brighter future,” Dr Emonson said.
“It’s time to take a fresh look at our long-term aspirations as a community and to work together to create a vision that reflects our hopes for the future.”
The survey can be completed at tinyurl.com/59m572cx while hard copies are available at the council’s customer service centres at 4 Station St, Cobram, and 100 Belmore St, Yarrawonga.
