And the mobile campus is built for just that.
The GOTAFE mobile campus is designed to help community members engage with training, career and TAFE services.
Working in partnership with local government and tapping into job active networks and financial support services, the mobile campus will take a community-centred and solutions-based approach to delivering services that enhance opportunities across regional Victoria.
The GOTAFE mobile campus has four key service delivery elements:
Skills and jobs centre: Provide course advice, referrals and qualified career counselling.
Education and training: On-site training and course delivery to enable remote learning.
Events and activities: Attending community events and engaging in local activities.
Community computer lab: The mobile campus has access to resources students need.
As well as its stop-offs in different towns, campus staff will hold information sessions and workshops throughout its regional journey.
The mobile campus is in Kyabram, parked at 286 Allan St, Kyabram, until Friday, March 22.
