The ninth annual Benalla Short Film Festival will take place later this year, with the date and venue still to be confirmed.
In the meantime organisers are keen for creative and talented film-makers to enter their work before the submission deadline, which is June 30.
Festival director Anna Smith said entries must be no longer than 15 minutes, with an MA15+ rating.
“There are cash prizes available in seven categories including the Local Encouragement Award for film makers living within 100km of Benalla,” Ms Smith said.
“Our judges will be Tony Bonner AM (Skippy the bush kangaroo) and Krista Vendy (Neighbours).
“Last year an entry from Shepparton-based film-maker Timothy Brown took out the Local Encouragement, and Documentary Awards.”
If anyone would like to assist financially or in-kind, phone Anna Smith on 0429 367 236.
