The event will run from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and organisers say it will be a fantastic opportunity to catch up with colleagues and friends.
Former ERH enrolled nurse Beth Baker worked at the hospital for 12 years and said she was looking forward to the afternoon.
“It will be a lovely afternoon where old friends and colleagues can reminisce about the great times we had shared at the hospital,” Ms Baker said.
“The staff made the time we had worked there a truly memorable time.”
The last ERH employee reunion was in 2018, and organisers want as many people to come along as possible.
“Anyone who has worked at ERH and is considering coming, please do,” Ms Baker said.
Sue Swalling worked at the hospital for 15 years. She started as a ‘pinky’ where she would help nursing staff with various tasks relating to the welfare of patients.
She was also employed as a creche assistant caring for the nurses’ children in the hospital creche before moving across to the hospital to work. The creche building was the infectious diseases ward in the early 1900s.
“We would love to see you and talk about our great times together,” Ms Swalling said.
The price for the event is only $15 per person and includes a selection of nibbles and drinks at bar prices.
The day’s raffle proceeds will go towards the ERH Cancer and Wellness Centre.
RSVP and payment are required by April 19 to Sue Swalling on 0429 267 068 or Beth Baker on 0417 824 025.
