Dreams come true in book week

Heigh ho: There were a few Snow White’s at Kyabram P-12’s book week parade last week, along with six of the seven dwarfs. They are, from left: Morgan Campbell, Allie Farrell, Lucy Woolard, Natalie Parkinson, Linda Clapp and Shelley Leahy

There he is: Where’s Wally (Taylor Richardson, with 101 Dalmations character Alanna Curling behind him) attracted the usual amount of attention, red and white skivvies a Kyabram P-12 College book week favourite.
First thing: Dr Zuess and his colorful range of characters attracted plenty of support from the Kyabram P-12 student body. Ashlea Duckworth was Thing 1 for a day.
Long arm of the law: Curtis Wickham was on hand in case any of the book week scoundrels moved into mischevious mode.
Colorful and curious: Zarli Busch seems to be questioning the request of a classmate in her capacity as a wish-granting fairy.

Dancing things: Tongala Primary School staff Grace Hinks and Jen Exton-Cash bring the Dr Zuess characrters to life during the Book Week parade.
Lily Kellett and Olivia Smith appeared at the Tongala parade as Dr Zeuss’ characters Thing One and Thing Two, human-like twins from the The Cat in the Hat book.
Buzz is back: This year’s Buzz Lightyear movie release has reinvigorated the Toy Story character, which was celebrated by Sonny Myers last week.
Blowout: Sam Davie, who spent the morning as Sonic the Hedgehod at Tongala, appears to have suffered a sneaker malfunction due to his high-speed antics.
Demon for a day: Ivy Beach took on the identity of giant Melbourne Football Club captain Max Gawn in celebration of the school’s Book Week event.
Cousin It: Tongala primary schoolers Abby Threlfall and Hunter Radley flank The Addams Family character, Cousin It, who underneath all of the “hair’’ was Phoenix Radford.
Purple patch: WIlly Wonka & the Chocolate Factory-inspired character, Violet Beauregrade, was brought to life by Tongala primary schooler Ava Brunt.
