According to authorities in attendance, one car travelling east rolled several times on the Riverina Highway about 3km from the town after colliding with another.
Two of the seven passengers in the rolled car became trapped, with one sustaining serious leg injuries and being transported to hospital.
The driver of the second car was not injured.
The crash occurred at 2.50pm and traffic conditions returned to normal about 5pm.
Rural Fire Service Federation Group Captain Greyd’n Davis said Savernake Rural Fire Service were first on scene to the crash, administering first aid and fire protection until more help could arrive.
They also assisted Fire + Rescue NSW firefighters with the rescue operation.
“It was a miracle that there were not more serious injuries involved, and that most of the seven occupants freed themselves and walked out of the wreck, considering it’s damage,” Capt Davis said.
