The Living Waters Church is holding an auction this weekend to raise funds for a new 500-seat auditorium to accommodate the recent significant growth of church attendance.
In October 2023, the church saw a change in leadership, with new senior pastors, Aaron and Amy Wallace, taking over with a strong vision of impacting and reaching out to the Kyabram community.
Living Waters said it had experienced growth in church attendees and volunteer involvement, which Ps Aaron Wallace said prompted them to consider expanding.
“The coming auction will assist the church in raising funds that will go towards completing works within what will be our new 500-seat auditorium,” he said.
“We are hoping for the new auditorium to be an asset to the community in the future — there are big plans.”
The 300 items to be sold at the auction have been donated by various congregation and community members across Kyabram and include kitchen and household appliances, shed, outdoor, boat, motor and sound equipment, and much more.
The auction starts at 10am on Saturday, April 20, at 60 Allan St, Kyabram, and will have a barbecue and refreshments available for keen buyers.
