While she can't be at weddings and other events taking photos as she has been for the past eight years, she wants to give back another way.
With the success of other local photographers in the area, Ms Lincoln has decided to take an old favourite and make it her own.
“Originally there was another project from another photographer called ‘Front Door Project'.
With permission, I created ‘Meet me at your letterbox’ as there were a lot of ‘smaller’ towns that missed out on that project,” Ms Lincoln said.
Ms Lincoln asks families to book in a time where they can meet at their letterbox or property front for a family photo — with social distancing, of course.
Advertising days in Kyabram, Stanhope and Girgarre, she aims to give families something to remember this crazy time by.
“I think this time is history is going to be very important for generations to come — to be able to have these photos to show to their family for generations to come will be irreplaceable,” she said.
Ms Lincoln also wanted to ensure families did not feel alone in isolation.
“Being part of this project means people feel like they are part of a community — especially once it's complete to share around town on social media, they can feel like they are really in this together,” she said.
“This moment in time is just so unreal, to document these times I feel is just important... and photos always bring a smile to people and their families.”
Ms Lincoln has clarified she is able to continue working on her project during COVID19 restrictions by contacting the Victorian Business Hotline.
Bookings are open for Kyabram, Girgarre and Stanhope up to September 5.
