The garage sale weekend is held annually to coincide with the Victorian Labour Day weekend, coordinated by the Deniliquin Pastoral Times with the support of the Deniliquin Business Chamber.
Among those getting involved this year is Den Calder, who will have a range of goods available at 311 Victoria St tomorrow.
“They are things that we have accumulated over the years and which have taken up space in a cottage on our property,” she said.
“It was just sitting there in storage gathering dust, and then I saw the Deniliquin Town Garage Sale being advertised.
“I thought I would go for it while we’re scaling down.”
On offer at the sale will be a range of furniture items, including bed heads, cane furniture, chairs and more.
There’s also homewares, crockery and glassware, baskets and even some custom pottery made by Mrs Calder’s daughter Fiona McConachy some years ago.
"There will be a lot of bargains,” she said.
Mrs Calder’s sale will begin at 9am Saturday, with a finish time to be determined based on interest.
Hers is one of eight Saturday only sales being hosted this weekend, with another seven running both Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be one Sunday only sale.
All sales locations and times are listed on page 4 of today’s Pastoral Times.
