PREMIUM Livestock Beef success for Finley High School By Country News Oct 14, 2024 Finley High School student Lillianna MyerVale, pictured left, was crowned the Intermediate Champion parader. Lillianna paraded Cheekie. Maggie Bramley, centre, was the Reserve Intermediate Champion. She paraded Marshmallow. Ava Schlink was awarded the Junior Champion Parader sash. Ava paraded Liquorice. Finley High School students achieved success at the Melbourne Royal Show recently. FHS Uzzi paraded by Kate Tilley took out the Grand Champion Carcase award with a score of 93.83 points. Finley High School bull Unstoppable with (from left, front row) Matilda Burton, Lindsey Matheson, Ava Schlink and Claire Ingram on the halter. Back row, Nick Chesworth, Ryan Bauer, Maggie Bramley, Abbey Tanner, Gary Webb and Robyn O’Leary. Unstoppable was the Junior Champion Bull. He went on to beat the Senior Champion Bull to be named Grand Champion Bull. Unstoppable was in the top five in the Interbreed competition.
