The Murray Bombers sit in top spot not just on the GVL ladder, but also in a number of key attacking statistics.
Echuca has kicked 154 goals in total, the most in the GVL this season, 18 more than Euroa with the second most this season.
The Murray Bombers are averaging the highest score per game (104) and are also leading the league in total scoring shots (268).
Echuca is leading the league in inside 50s (568) — almost 100 more than next-best Rochester — and its forwards are providing excellent targets, with the side also topping the league in marks inside 50 (188).
Ruory Kirkby has been leading the way for the Murray Bombers up front, with his team-high 28 goals also tied for the second most in the GVL.
The tall forward has been a marking machine — he is leading the GVL in contested marks (39) and he has the second most marks inside 50 (50).
On the flip side, Echuca’s defence has been rock solid this season.
It has conceded the fewest points overall (449) and is yet to concede more than 10 goals in a game.
