Cars, four-wheel drives and bikes revved into the Merrigum Recreation Reserve for the Wheels at the Gum, with many enthusiasts taking part.
The show started in 2019 to help attract people to Merrigum and to bring the community together.
Merrigum Community Group head Tom Groves labelled the event a huge success.
“Our car show committee put in a big effort, making this our largest show that we have held,” he said.
“The day was a huge success, with around 200 cars, 40 four-wheel drives, over 100 bikes and a good selection of vintage trucks and boats.
“All of the trophies were handmade and very unique, which were a crowd favourite.”
Various community groups from the town helped make the day a big success, with the Merrigum Lions Club, Merrigum Golf Club, Merrigum Hall Committee, Merrigum Bowls Club and more helping out by running stalls, serving food and running kids’ activities.
“With all the donations from our generous sponsors, we were able to have great give-away prizes for our trophy winners and a huge selection of prizes in our raffle draw,” Mr Groves said.
“We have to give a huge thanks to all our sponsors, community committees, volunteers, entrants and spectators. Without their help and them showing up on the day, the show wouldn’t have been so successful.”
Mr Groves said all the funds raised from the event would go back into the community, supporting various projects around the town.
