YOU KNOW A FESTIVAL WILL BE GREAT IF EVERY MUSICIAN TELLS YOU THAT THE LINE-UP IS FANTASTIC AND THEY CAN’T WAIT TO PERFORM AT IT.

That is the case with this year’s Echuca Moama Winter Blues Festival.
8 Ball Aitken is one of those artists who can’t wait to perform in Echuca.
“We are going to play our party rock and fun stuff,” 8 Ball Aitken said.
“We will keep it interesting with different songs at different sets that will keep people returning for more.
“I am bringing my cigar box and three-string slide guitar.
“Anyone who loves cigar boxes and slide guitars should check out my show.
“I love that a little box can make so much noise, a little cigar box.
“It will be so exciting to be back in Echuca playing the blues.”
8 Ball Aitken will play tracks from his Ice Cream Man and Swamp Boys albums at Winter Blues.
When asked who he was looking forward to hearing at Winter Blues, 8 Ball Aitken mentioned Corey Legg and an Echuca Moama Winter Blues favourite, 19 Twenty.
The blues rock band Lady Valiant is playing at the festival for the first time.
Lady Valiant singer Glenna Lynes is excited about playing Winter Blues.
“We have a lot of new stuff and we will be playing some new things in Echuca for the Winter Blues Festival,” she said.
“We are in the process of recording, so keep your eyes on Lady Valiant news, which we will update as we get things going.
“We have wanted to get down there to play for ages, so we are really excited.
“I just want to catch as many people as we can when we are not playing, and I want to meet people, I want to hear new sounds, I want to make new friends, new fans, I am seriously excited.”
One of Glenna’s recommendations for Winter Blues, like everyone, is 19 Twenty.
Lady Valiant is looking forward to catching up with Julian James as well.
“And not just to see people that we know, like we have seen Sweet Felicia and the Honey Tones a few times, and she is amazing,” Glenna said.
“I haven’t seen Marshall and the Fro, and they pop up when we have streaming stuff on and I am really keen to catch them as well.”
