The Queen guitarist, 77, revealed in an Instagram post in September he had lost control over his arm after a "minor stroke".
EastEnders and Doctor Who actress Dobson, who has been married to the musician since 2000, said the health scare had reminded her that "life is precious".

"Brian is stable now", she told The Sun newspaper.
The 75-year-old actress added: "The start of the year has been up and down. We both had the flu but we took the kids to Lapland, 15 of them."
Dobson also revealed Sir Brian had "never been happier" since they had moved from London to the countryside.
"To see what it has done to Brian... he loves it. He loves the birds and the animals", she said.
"He feeds all the birds and the badgers, foxes and pheasants. It's like running a pub for animals."
Sir Brian had said the health scare had been "a little scary" but praised the "fantastic care" he received from Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey in a video posted to Instagram on September 4.
He said at the time he was "grounded" after being advised not to drive, fly or do any activity which would send his heart rate too high.
Dobson said they have since been "spending time at home" and "taking each day as it comes".
"It makes you realise that at any minute it could be you. You don't have to necessarily be old, it could be anyone", she added.
"You think you are fit; you see these people who run marathons and then at a young age they are gone.
"You have to live every day as if it was your last. It's not easy to do that.
"You forget and think 'I've got another week' and it's all booked up.
You have to be aware that life is precious, and with life changing so fast we are all on a bit of a thin thread, if you like."
The actress is due to revisit her EastEnders history when she takes part in co-star Ross Kemp's documentary to mark the BBC soap opera's 40th anniversary next month.
Dobson played Queen Vic landlady Angie Watts from the first episode on February 19 1985 until her character was written out of the soap in 1988.
More than 30 million viewers tuned in to see Den Watts, her character's husband, hand over divorce papers in the 1986 Christmas Day episode, with the words "Happy Christmas, Ange".
The actress also appeared in Doctor Who last year as Mrs Flood, the mysterious next door neighbour to the Doctor's companion Ruby Sunday, and has said she will feature in more episodes of the long-running BBC sci-fi series.
